TROUBLE SHOOTING (FAN WOBBLES OR SHAKES EXCESSIVELY)
There are several reasons that cause the unstable operation of the fan (after finish installation).
The suggested remedies to stabilize the fan are :

1. Make sure mounting bracket is tight at ceiling with no movement at all.
2. Retighten the two downrod setscrews.
3. Make sure all screws holding the blades to the blade arm and blade arm to motor are tight.
4. Most fan wobble problems are caused when blade levels are unequal. Check this level by selecting a point on the ceiling above the tip of one of the blades. Measurement should always be within 3 milimetres.
   
5. If a blade balancing kit is provided, use if needed.

BALANCING KIT.

1. Turn on the fan and set the speed control setting to a speed at which the wobble is the greatest (usually it happens at highest speed).
2. Turn off the fan and allow it to a complete stop. Select one blade and place the balance clip on it, halfway between the blade holder and the blade tip on the trailing edge of the blade.
3. Turn the fan on. Note whether the wobble has increased or decreased. Turn the fan off, move the clip to another blade, and retest. Repeat this procedure on all blades noting the blade on which the greatest improvement is achieved.
4. Move the clip back to the blade that showed the greatest improvement. Move the clip inward and outward on this blade and operate the fan to find the position where the clip gives the greatest improvement.
5. Remove the clip and install a balancing weight to the top of the blade along the centerline near the point where the clip was positioned.
6. If the fan wobble problem has not been corrected you may wish to try to improve the balancing further by using the balancing clip and additional weight.

MENGATASI MASALAH KIPAS ANGIN YANG TIDAK STABIL
Ada beberapa sebab yang membuat kipas angin dekorasi tidak stabil pada saat pengoperasian setelah pemasangan.
Beberapa langkah yang diperlukan untuk menstabilkan kipas angin dekorasi yaitu :

1. Pastikan gantungan kipas angin dekorasi terpasang dengan sempurna dan tidak bergerak sama sekali.
2. Kuatkan pemasangan dua set sekrup pada pipa gantungan.
3. Pastikan semua sekrup baling – baling dan sekrup tangkai baling – baling telah terpasang dengan baik.
4. Kebanyakan tidak stabilnya kipas angin dekorasi diakibatkan oleh perbedaan ketinggian antara sesama baling – baling. Gunakan alat pengukur untuk mengukur jarak ketingggian antara tiap baling – baling dengan plafon (hanya diperbolehkan dengan perbedaan 3 milimeter antara sesama baling – baling).
   
5. Apabila alat penyeimbang / balancing kit tersedia, maka anda perlu memasang alat penyeimbang / balancing kit.

ALAT PENYEIMBANG / BALANCING KIT.

1. Hidupkan sumber listrik kipas angin dekorasi dan pilihlah kecepatan yang membuat kipas angin dekorasi menjadi paling tidak stabil (biasanya ini terjadi pada kecepatan tertinggi).
2. Matikan sumber listrik pada kipas angin dekorasi dan tunggu sampai kipas angin dekorasi tersebut berhenti dengan sempurna. Pilih salah satu baling – baling dan pasangkan klip penyeimbang ke bagian tengah baling – baling tersebut.
3. Lalu hidupkan kembali sumber listrik kipas angin dekorasi. Mohon dicatat apakah kipas angin dekorasi menjadi lebih stabil atau lebih tidak stabil. Lalu matikan sumber listrik kipas angin dekorasi kembali.
4. Coba dan amatilah prosedur ini satu persatu. Kemudian pilih baling – baling yang menghasilkan putaran paling stabil.
5. Setelah baling – baling tersebut ditentukan, kemudian pasang kembali klip penyeimbang tersebut. Geser klip penyeimbang tersebut ke arah ke kiri dan kanan baling – baling untuk mendapatkan posisi paling baik untuk menstabilkan kipas angin dekorasi tersebut.
6. Setelah posisi paling baik ditentukan, tempelkan dengan baik besi penyeimbang pada bagian tengah baling – baling searah dengan klip penyeimbang. Kemudian lepaskan klip penyeimbang tersebut.
